What areas do you cover?

Are you a licensed waste carrier?

Yes. Ritchie’s Environmental Services is a fully licensed SEPA‑registered waste carrier (WCR/R/3022531). This means all waste is handled, transported and disposed of responsibly at approved recycling centres.

What types of waste do you remove?

We clear almost everything, including:

Household rubbish
Furniture and appliances
Garden waste
Office and trade waste
Garage and loft contents
Single‑item uplifts

We cannot remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals or medical waste.

How much does rubbish removal cost?

Our pricing is based on the amount of waste, labour required, and access to the property. We offer clear, upfront quotes with no hidden fees. For an accurate price, simply send us a photo or request a quick visit.

Do I need to be there during the clearance?

Not always. As long as we can access the items safely, we can carry out the clearance while you’re away – ideal for landlords, estate agents and busy homeowners.

How quickly can you collect my rubbish?

We offer same‑day and next‑day collections across Glasgow whenever possible. For larger house clearances, we can schedule a time that suits you.

Do you recycle?

Yes. We aim to recycle or donate as much as possible to reduce landfill waste. Items in good condition may be passed on to local charities or reuse centres.
